Gun compartment is full length and has a fit-all nylon Velcro-sided holster that you can arrange at the angle best for you. love it
I was a little hesitant about buying a pocket book without actually touching it. I just love this one . It's not so big that it's uncomfortable to carry, hold my 9mm and has enough little pockets for phone and everything else.

Great bag
This bag is just what I wanted. It's big enough even for my 1911 but I use a smaller everyday carry. The customer service is outstanding. Despite problems that were not their fault I was very well taken care off.
